Funny story: A friend of mine went on a date and left his wallet at the restaurant and tried to tell the girl: 我忘记了我的皮包!(I forgot my wallet.) However, he mixed up 皮包pi bao and said 包皮 (foreskin) to the surprise of his date.

QQ Music had a few versions of GanLanShu (I really liked the HongHan one) and videos with the music. One said it was the Soundtrack to "HuanYan" so I went on YouKu to search it and found it. But there are others like YouKu, http://www.fengxingwang.cn/ 风行网 or Funshion is a good one or of course YouTube (if you are outside of China). I think if you not into so melodramatic love stories I can recommend 我的少女時代, 《那些年》, 《等一個人咖啡》電影主題曲_哈林庾澄慶【缺口】官方MV . Notice the Chinese punctuation "《" is usually a movie while "【" is the song name. So it's a movie called DengYiGeRenKaFei 《等一個人咖啡》 and the theme song (電影主題曲 or 电影主题曲) QueKou【缺口】. I think to most native speakers that seems too obvious to point out but is different from most Western languages. I hope that helps.

Hi Bella, try YouTube or there's also QQ Music (a Chinese Spotify, swip left and you get the lyrics https://drive.google.com/file/d/18pOvG4-GGXCTMnLNogUAt4iXe57fgliX/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/14WYcNWerPjec29rXTM2SFwNkxoU-xDjB/view?usp=sharing) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLa92lSR4mM. They have a lot of these videos with subtitles. You can screenshot them and use the Pleco app on your phone to use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to find out the meaning. (It's a paid add on but definitely worth for the beginner). T哥哥

German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish...) I have found gems like Despacito in Mandarin, Cantonese, French, Portuguese, or mixed together with Faded. Might be another idea for a lesson.

more functions! You might want to use a VPN to download it. You may need a WeChat or QQ account (the Chinese Whatsapp). It also has a lot of foreign music (French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish...) I have found gems like Despacito in Mandarin, Cantonese, French, Portuguese, or mixed together with Faded. Might be another idea for a lesson.

Oh thank you for listening and starting this section!!! Love it! To get lyrics download QQ Music. Most songs have lyrics when you swipe left. It’s like the Chinese Spotify but with more functions. You may want to use a VPN to download it so it lets you activate it. Subscription is done through your WeChat (Chinese Whatsapp). Anyhow maybe an idea for another lesson?
