Sorry for the above comment. Sometimes the ChinesePod commenting system refuses to accept updates for the entire 15 minute window. "Changed jobs" is a common expression in English (either American or the British variant). Here are queries of "changed jobs" vs. "found a new job" on two search engines: Google: 0.5 million vs. 15 million Bing: 128 million vs. 742 million The ratio is 30:1 on Google, 6:1 on Bing in favor of "found a new job" but "changed jobs" is certainly accepted and commonly used.

Small blunder in the expansion sentences:

这个人是推荐的,应该是个比较可靠的人。
This is the person she recommended--he should be a fairly reliable person.

@chris, JasonSchr, sfrrr: This is way off-topic, but I found it hilarious. It's a cartoon teaching proper usage of ten English word sets. Your/You're and There/They're/Their are in this lesson.

(Every time you spell it "wierd" a dolphin gets run over by a jet ski!)

Thanks, Connie! My ZPod lesson downloader kept logging errors. It's much better now.

@chanelle77: Thanks! Nanjing has changed a lot over the past couple of years, though, so I'm sure she is ok now. Back when I visited they only had Carrefour and a place called the "European Import Food Store". It's not every day you need a turkey :)

Wow...I think we've found an item you cannot buy on Taobao. Tofurky is the most famous vegetarian turkey substitute. It's not the only one: we ate a Field Roast "Cranberry en Croute" Celebration Loaf for Thanksgiving.

很抱歉,没有找到与“tofurky”相关的宝贝

你是不是想找:

雪地靴 羽绒服 靴子 手机 围巾 毛衣 圣诞礼物 dnf宝马

Rough translation: Very sorry, can't find "tofurky" or related treasures. Did you mean to search for snow boots, down jackets, boots, cell phone, scarf, sweater, Christmas gift, dnf BMW.
