"Changed jobs" is a common expression in English (either American or the British variant). Here are queries of "changed jobs" vs. "found a new job" on two search engines: Google: 0.5 million vs. 15 million Bing: 128 million vs. 742 million The ratio is 30:1 on Google, 6:1 on Bing in favor of "found a new job" but "changed jobs" is certainly accepted and commonly used.
