December 13, 2012 at 2:42 AMJust going by the name of this lesson, I wonder: Do Chinese have any equivilent to the game we have in the West, at least in America, of "Getting warmer" "Getting colder" when trying to find an object? The game goes that you pick an item in the room or house and the other person tries to find it where you only say "Warm" or "Cold"..."You're getting warmer", "You're getting colder." I think I tried to play this with a Chinese friend, who was trying to find something in my room, and he didn't understand at all, lol....“我不感觉热" haha

Back in college class, I sat behind a guy who wore a T-shirt with this on the back: The best thing about the opposite sex is just how opposite they are.
(Here the second "opposite" is the “异” in the Chinese text as well)

December 12, 2012 at 1:55 AMI'm surprised this hasn't been answered yet, and I too was wondering if it was in the lesson, but I guess since it uses a character for "opposite" that they didn't use in the lesson, they didn't go there. It is 异性 yì xìng, where 异yì can mean: different, other, strange [I can assure you it just means "other" in 异性, haha...but that is open for debate]

December 17, 2012 at 3:19 AMYeah, there is a box next to the toilet on the floor...yuck... and then there is a place for unused tissue if you want to give it...but rarely do I see any there, and I would have to be in an extreme emergency to use it, haha.
