Man you guys are really helping to teach me this language. I greatly value your site. I just moved to Beijing to teach English and to immerse myself into Chinese culture. Meager wages prohibit me from paying a year in advance. Is there anyway that I might be able to negotiate for a baseball shirt? Further, the school where I teach provides me with four hours of Chinese lessons per week and she (my teacher) is quite impressed with your methods. Oh and Jenny and Ken on noodles and "dry men" was hilarious. Best banter yet!

Just took work in Beijing with no bakground at all in Mandarin. I learned French when I was younger and the process was sometimes grueling. I find Mandarin to be way more challenging. Any hints? You in China too?

Concerned! Guys I have made a goal to start at the beginning (ascending), and try to muscle my way to the front of the 250something newbie lessons. How long will these vital lessons be missing? John? Ken? Jenny? BTW...while I await a Chinese teacher who will provide me two hours of personal lessons per week, I feel that your site will always be vital to my progress with this strange new language.

Really great. I use Chinese pod quite a bit since moving to Beijing to teach English. I think the price is fair for what you provide. Is there talk of adding a dictionary with audio?
