June 26, 2011 at 5:38 PMIs Skritter available for all levels at no extra cost? Also, does it teach both simplified and traditional characters? Because I'm learning both. Thanks!

June 26, 2011 at 5:29 PMHi, I've tried your free week-long newbie lessons through my Smartphone (Android) and I absolutely loved them! I had some questions, though. 1) I noticed that some of the audio review files, the voices are sometimes cut off usually towards the end of a sentence. For instance, "Do you like soccer?" would sound like "Do you like sock(s)?". Would I still have problems like this if I sign up for a membership? 2) Was Jenny born and raised in Shanghai? If so, does she also speak Shanghainese on top of Mandarin? What about the other native Chinese host in advanced Chinese lessons? Where is s/he from? 3) Are advanced and advanced media levels grouped together? I'm asking because I didn't see media on the Sample a Lesson page of your website. 4) Can I really become fluent in Mandarin just by studying lessons on ChinesePod.com? Thank you! :~)

April 24, 2012 at 5:05 AMTo me, the Pinyin version of "o" ("o" on its own) sounds identical to "uo/wo"... Are they supposed to sound the same? :/
For example, are "bo" and "buo" supposed to be pronounced identically or differently?
