According to Wikipedia: "In Japanese, "kirin" can refer to giraffes, or to Qilin, the mythical hooved Chinese chimerical creatures. Kirin Brewery is named after the latter."

Re: " the stuff you put in a car is a liquid", are you referring to petrol (汽油？ Or liquefied gas (液化石油气 ) which is the LPG that some automobiles use, as described above?

I am not one of the users who worked on them, so I can't speak from direct experience, but I did see it said somewhere that the ones who probably got the most benefit were the ones who actually made the transcripts. This would be a good issue to raise on the forum.

October 13, 2015 at 3:37 AMThe addition of subtitles to the video lessons looks to be a very promising feature, though I must say I appreciate the ability to turn them off. I think I missed that at first because of watching in full screen mode. I expect next time the quality will get better when you are producing the videos knowing in advance they will be subtitled. In this case the captioning is stepping on the other video notes that were previously incorporated.

As to the second point, maybe the lesson pages could include a link for "related forum posts" or the current "related lessons" drop down could become "related lessons and forum threads." As of now, if I type "personality" or "personalities" into the search box on the forum page it does not turn up the thread related to these two lessons
