Thanks changye !

What about blaketx's question concerning 我刚回去越南 as an exception to the "sandwich" rule ?

For this sentence:

我刚从美国回来

Wǒ gāng cóng Měiguó huílai.
I just got back from America.

Can you use the "sandwich" structure? For example, can you say:

我刚从回美国来。

Wǒ gāng cóng huí Měiguó lai.

That Lesson Q&A Tab sounds like a great idea.

I agree with the new comments policy. I'd love to read all the posts related to a lesson, but just don't have time to filter through all of it to get to the language related stuff. I like Henning's idea too, but it requires too much onus on individual users to adhere to the policy.

Why not revamp the comments section totally? Set it up similar to the CPOD Forum structure. That way, language specific discussions have a better chance of being isolated in one section. Moderators could edit/move posts that are in the wrong section.

Excellent lesson.

Why is the lesson titled "Any" (instead of Qing Wen) on the ME page?

paulinurus

actually, you raise a valid point, however, I cannot see any distinct advantage with having a known CPOD lesson schedule versus a random one...either would work fine with me, as long as the quality and mix of different levels was consistent

sebire, i said i prefer things to be "random", not suicide :)

By definition, the universe is random. "Order" is just a word invented by people who desire control. I prefer mystery over certainty, chaos over structure, natural learning over grammar rules, flexibilty over rigidity, spontaneity versus planning and CPOD's  打擦边球 edginess versus the textbook.

So, my answer is "I like to be surprised".

这个词组我真搞不懂历史:

"你老婆给你戴绿帽子"

有人介绍一下吧?
