Posted on: Can You Use Chopsticks?
December 2, 2009 at 2:32 AM@romanticon,
bababardwan is right.
Hui4 - Used to talk about 'abilities'. Eg.
你会说英语吗? nǐ huì shuō yīn yǔ ma? Can you speak English?
Or 你会唱歌吗? Nǐ huì chànggē ma? Can you sing?
'kěyǐ'- is used for when asking 'permission' type questions/replies. For example 我可以坐吗?wǒ kěyǐ zuò ma? Can I sit here? or 我可以吃吗? wǒ kěyǐ chī ma? May I eat?
You cannot say nǐ kěyǐ yòng kuàizi ma? to mean 'can you use chopsticks?'
Hope this helps!

头 can be used, but it's used orally and not very common.
面 is far more commonly used.
