@helenshen

A "cat fight" is a fight between women. For some reason there are men that love this and wish for cat fights to break out so they can watch. It is especially desirable if the women involved are supposed to be classy. The best cat fights involve scratching, hair pulling, name calling, and all sorts of behavior that would be unacceptable in a fight between men.  If two women seem to be about to fight the tradition is for an onlooker to yell out "CAT FIGHT!!!" so everyone in the area can come to see.

It may have specified veinous blood since arteries have a beat, just like a heartbeat, while veins do not. They do have valves (which arteries do not) to keep blood from going backwards. If the heart is weak for some reason there may not be enough pressure to keep things going thru the veinous system. So circulation problems are usually related to veins, not arteries. That is just my guess, though. Not medical advise.

hey! I just realized the Chinese words for vein and artery make the distinction very well! 动脉 moving vessel, 静脉 calm vessel.... I love Chinese!

I agree with chiongzibide... There are Advanced and Media lessons with no English and you can watch the news in Chinese online. So there are resources available to hear spoken Mandarin. This show lets people learn more about China, before they get to that level of comprehension. I think that is valuable.

I think the issue is that the characters say "二十", and the English says "twelve".
