LostinAsia I agree exactly - our ears seems to be atuned! I would like Chinesepod to do something on regional accents or different pronunciations some time...

In the dialogue and expansion tabs the person seems to pronounce 全 as que2, rather than quan2. Perhaps it is my hearing that is at fault. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have just tried to use the dictionary for the first time. I would like to suggest some improvements in the recognition of pinyin, which are available in the http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php dictionary. You should optionally be able to omit tone marks. This would make it much easier to use. At the moment if you type ji4zhu4 you get no matches - you have to type ji4zhu5. (Actually the Plecodict on the palm allows you to mix chinese characters and pinyin and still matches: so you can search on ji4住 for example.) But I think the most useful thing is to be able to search on pinyin without tone marks - that's how I use the mdbg dictionary online while I am listening to a podcast to rapidly look up words I dont know
