My apologizes for all my English mistakes. I tend not to pay too much attention to my English lately:(

Thanks Amber for taking the time to reinforce my understanding on how to call out an idiot. Today I learned some phrases that I would like to pass on to our community. This tread seems suitable because the follow phrase really aren't on the polite order:) I understand that in Taiwan there are two sayings that express 迷信 (superstition) when seeing a bald person (positive) 十禿九富 (roughly, out of 10 bald people 9 are wealth) (negative)十禿九色 (roughly, out of 10 bald people 9 are 色狼 sex obsessed) Thought this one would help reinforce the discussion about 色狼 The last saying that was rather funny when described to me but really is rather a impolite way of talking about people; 一朵鮮花插在牛糞上 Roughly, this sentence can be said when one sees a couple where there is rather attractive woman matched up with a rather unattractive man. Hence the pretty fresh flowers stuck into a pile of cow dung! Maybe this is something Jiang Liang would say when he sees LiLi with another guy:)

笨蛋 傻瓜 白痴 腦殘 When it comes to insulting a person's mental and behavioral capacity, these four words seem to be used rather frequently. I was taught, cpod please correct if I miss represent the above words, that the order of severity is as there are listed; 笨蛋 being the most flexible and potentially used as joking or jest to true insulting. 傻瓜 then being used rather like 笨蛋 but generally a bit stronger than stupid egg. (傻瓜 I have heard used in cartoons) 白痴 now the intelligence is not be compared to something else anymore but actually being insulted directly. Seemly growing in use, especially on the internet is the use of 腦殘-there is no room for jesting here, this insult is just plain mean. There might be many ways to translate it, the simplest may being - mentally handicapped or brain damaged. Let us hope we don't see any of these words being used in our discussion areas.
