September 10, 2011 at 10:56 AMWhen I was younger and didn't know chinese, I thought that "meiti meiti" (媒体媒体) was a way to address famous people or their entourage. ;o)

September 9, 2011 at 7:14 AMBtw, as pillows generally goes by two (a pillow is often one of a pair), I use 再给我一只枕头 to ask for a second pillow.
But would it sound natural to use 再给我一只枕头 for a third pillow?
I guess 再给我一个枕头 would be more natural for a third pillow.

September 2, 2011 at 4:35 PMThis lessons missed the first few stages of the préparation :
- 杀鸡 ( not 马杀鸡 massage)
- 拔去鸡的毛 (拔鸡毛) (拔光鸡毛)
拔鸡毛以后才有一只光鸡
Of course, this vocab has other uses and double entendres.

行为放荡
不拘小节

August 31, 2011 at 5:27 PM有时候法国是个浪漫的国 (but only in the eyes of the "beholder").
在中国浪漫的意义好像毛泽东的政策 ... _% good / _% bad. ;o)
