The moonwalk is a break-dance move.

Btw, this chinese guy also told me that 灌水 (inject water) could also describe what a spammer/troll do on a website (and 灌水者 beeing a the word for spammer/troll). In this context 灌水 would literally translate the english word "flood".
As I wasn't 100% sure about what this guy said and it reminded me a word I saw here on Cpod, I checked the website and found the lesson about buying on Taobao. But, in this lesson, 灌水 only means "dupe others by inflating your goods".

Last month, you said "The origin of the word 吹牛 is apparently travelers who would cross rivers on inflated animal-skin rafts. The skin appears small until you blow into it."
From a local source, I learned that the origin of the word 吹牛 comes from an old street market vocab. It described the way products were prepared by stallholders to makes them look better for the customer.
In the past, on the market, most of the expressions were overly visual and with the word 吹牛 you had a fictitious and shocking image of someone blowing air in a cow through the anus to make it look bigger than it is in reality.
Of course, as a good student, I innoncently asked why it was 吹牛 (not 吹猪 , 吹鸡 or 吹羊) and I learned about a very special form of deep-massage (I spare you the details here).
