March 6, 2014 at 6:27 AMHi, Mike. That's odd. I've just checked again - mine are still working.

March 5, 2014 at 8:23 AMI have been offline for a few days. When I posted my little comment about pinyin popups I didn't imagine it would open the floodgates to such a deluge of negative reaction. As a frustrated user myself, I am glad this has all come out into the open as I fully share the views and feelings of the other disgruntled users. As for your late and agressive reaction, Alexander, I also feel it is unworthy of a service provider and totally unhelpful. If ChinesePod does not resume its previous level of service I shall also be terminating my subscription. The pinyin popups work now, though!

February 27, 2014 at 8:28 AM你好,Vera. 我觉得 preferential policies (或者 preferential government policies) 是对的,可是 deals 这个词一般是交易的意思,所以 government deals 这个词组不够准确地表示 优惠政策 的意思。

February 23, 2014 at 1:08 PM优惠政策 is translated both as "preferential policies" and "government deals". I realise it is often the government that creates the policies, but these are not "government deals", the latter being trade deals handled by the government. I'm afraid to say that I'm finding more and more inaccuracies in the lessons.

February 12, 2014 at 9:59 AMI'm more concerned by the ever-decreasing frequency of male voices. A whole batch of male students is learning to speak with women's linguistic mannerisms...

March 30, 2014 at 10:31 AMThis lesson is probably too old now for anyone to read and (hopefully) react, but why is 交易 translated as "exchange"? Surely it means "trade"?
