One more, is the term cáipàn used across sports? So a basketball referee or a tennis line judge would also be referred as cáipàn?

Hi, how do we say: "playoffs" and "World Series"? Also, how to say:

"The Giants play the Dodgers in San Francisco tomorrow afternoon."

Thanks!

你好, 我们怎么说:

"The fans cheered for the home team."

"The crowd is going nuts!"

I see "qiúmí" in the earlier posts, is that the term for the average pacific fan or is only used to refer to the lunatic ones, like the hooligans?

谢谢!

Hi, how do we say "to play a prank"?

我们怎么说:"His coworkers played a prank on him."?

Also, from the lesson vocabulary, we know "to joke" is

kāi wánxiào

How do we say "you must be joking!" or "you have got to be kidding!" ? Is it the same expression with a different intonation, i.e.

Nǐ kāi wánxiào!

?

谢谢

Trying to learn how to use "ranking" (páimíng).

How do I say

"ranking based on total number of medals"

(一共牌排名)?

and

"ranking based on total number of gold medals"

(一共金牌排名)?

谢谢

Add one more "pái" to changye's list:

登机牌 - dēng jī pái - boarding pass
