August 29, 2013 at 8:49 PM大家好，I had to look up what the abbreviation B.O. means. Now I know that it's 'body odour'. Chinese people have a big advantage over Caucasian or African people as they usually have relatively less body odour due to apparently nicer sweat glands ( 汗腺 [hànxiàn] ). A Chinese girl here told me that she could never imagine to have an European friend cause of their specific body odour. I wonder whether anybody did hear similar remarks?

not to forget the 比基尼 bǐjīní bikini
and is furthermore the expression 游泳裤 yóuyǒngkù swimming trunks (shorts) for men colloqial or more bookish?

in the QW 0226 they pronounce it always yīhuiěr, but if you check it in the glossary you'll find both pronunciations. I wonder whether the team is reading from time to time our questions!?

Very useful lesson. Here in Germany we have as well more and more of those cards. But here we would rather accumulate points. Nowadays almost everybody carries countless membership cards in his wallet. Really a nuisance!
