2) 了 in 我决心减肥了 indicates a change of state. referring to you weren't determined to lose weight, but now you had a change of heart. You can use 了 with 下定决心 too.
3) 一片好心 is a set phrase.

August 1, 2011 at 3:54 AM"良心被狗吃了/liángxīn bèi gǒu chīle" is a set phrase. You can't use it with other "心" words.

July 31, 2011 at 7:54 AMYou can say 药很厉害/yào hěn lìhai to mean "the medicine is very potent". If you want to say it's very strong in taste, it's 药很苦/yào hěnkǔ.

July 29, 2011 at 10:11 AM别提了 can't be used to mean "don't remind me" . It means "don't mention it" in sense that it was a disaster, too embarrassing to talk about. "Don't remind me" is 不用提醒我。

July 29, 2011 at 7:16 AMYou can say "回家的路上，我边走边说话“。"走着说话" is OK. It means " to talk while walking", but (一)边...（一)边 pattern is better because it emphasizes 2 actions happening at the same time. I hope the subtlety comes through.
