About the male actor's accent: the voice behind is Jason Chen, our colleague. He is from Shanghai but went to the States when he was quite young. Hence the accent. Right for the part.

Quite often, you don't need 啊 or 咯 to sound happy or excited. Taking the example of “吃饭咯", you can just say "吃饭" but say it with a happy mood and a smiling face. It would convery more or less the same message.
