Haha. I wish my Chinese was advanced enough to detect "youth language" in Chinese. As it stands now, it's all just Chinese language to me. I'm way out of my depth in the Advanced section. Ask me this question again in a few years ;)

June 3, 2009 at 2:22 AMI really liked the movie. 三國之見龍卸甲 is another good Three Kingdoms era movie. Anybody else seen it?

Though I'm not a Christian, I'd say there really isn't a "right" way to pray. It's up to each individual.

May 6, 2009 at 3:13 PMVery interesting, Changye. I've often thought that I would be quite tired after a full day of speaking Chinese (haven't attempted this yet, though). It seems that even native speakers are sympathetic to this view!

Anybody care to share their favourite strategy genre games with us?
I'm currently playing Empire: Total War. I'd be interested to know what Starcraft is called in China. This game is hugely popular in Korea. The televised matches are like football games here in the U.S.

May 4, 2009 at 11:37 PMPersonal attacks aren't constructive criticism. We already had to endure a round of this when Amber left and a few poddies lost their collective minds and lashed out at the rest of the staff.

April 29, 2009 at 4:21 PMActually, this rule only applies to 不. There are a few special rules like this in Mandarin. See here for a helpful explanation.
