8：29 用兵打仗的书
9：34在家里照料事情
11：52 做了一些删减
11：55 篇幅上不太长
11：58 词语的话比较密集

Here are two examples, hope it will make you clear:
1. 那双鞋的颜色太深了，还是这双好。
Na4 shuang1 xie2 de yan2se4 tai4 shen1 le, hai2shi zhe4 shuang1 hao3.
The color of that pair of shoes is too dark, this pair (of shoes) is （comparatively）better.
2. 冬天太冷了，夏天太热了，还是春天好。
Dong1tian1 tai4leng3le, xia4tian1 tai4re4le, hai2shi chun1tian1 hao.
Winter is too cold, summer is too hot, spring is （comparatively） better.
