No, I don't believe the 2nd sentence works. The only question word I can think of that always comes at the end of the sentence is 吗. Other question words go in the position of the word that will replace it when the reply comes.

As 怎么 requires a complex answer, and not just one word, I'm not sure of the logic for the word order here - but only the first version is correct.

In the podcast, Jenny says:

...像一个 Casanova 情圣一样... (xiàng yīge Casanova qíng shèng yíyàng)

At least 情圣 is how Richy interpreted that in his transcription.

I can't find 情圣 in any dictionary, and when I look up 'Casanova', a transliterated name appears.

What does 情圣 mean? (And did Richy get that right?)

2 questions

1. From the dialog:

电话无人接听 (diànhuà wúrén jiētīng) no-one is answering

What is the difference between using 无人 and 没人 in this situation?

Same goes for 无法 (wúfǎ) vs 没办法 (méi bànfǎ) later in the dialog.

2. Three different characters are used by themselves in this dialog to mean 'sound':

音 (yīn), 声 (shēng) and 响 (xiǎng)

What is the difference in meaning and/or usage between these three?

After I made my post, I looked up 眼光 on Nciku. They had a few example which led me to the definition I have in my post below.

I honestly didn't have a clue when I asked the question originally - it wasn't a challenge, just a query.

Now that I've looked at Nciku though, might I suggest that the translation should be "Sir, you have a good eye for quality" (the statement was a response to the previous comment by the customer about the quality of the products).

And recognising the quality of a product is not really the same as counting that product as one of your 'tastes'.

Regarding the following sentence from the dialog:

先生您真有眼光。(Xiānsheng nín zhēn yŏu yănguāng.) Sir you have very good taste.

The Key vocabulary list does not include 眼光. In online dictionaries it is translated as 'sight' or 'vision'. How does that get translated as 'taste'.

Here is a transcript of the podcast. It is not a full transcript, as a lot of English is used, rendering a transcript unnecessary for much of the podcast.
