May 23, 2009 at 6:00 AMDid anyone realise that Amber did not just leave - she defected.
I just found her on another Chinese podcast site, which started up in New York only this year.

April 23, 2009 at 9:43 AMHi Jenny,
Are you saying my request actually made a difference? If there was a god, I'd thank him, but I'll have to thank Chinese Pod instead. Thankyou.

April 23, 2009 at 8:02 AMCould I make a suggestion to the CPod staff.
The posters above have been saying how easy this level is, but I am one of the many people who easily cope with Elementary, but struggle at Intermediate. The exceptions are the few Intermediate lessons hosted by Ken, which seem more High-Elementary.
I will stick my neck out and suggest that the transition from Elementary to Intermediate is the most difficult due to the fact that Jenny begins giving most of her explanation in Mandarin. I just cannot follow her. You will probably tell me that she is only using Elementary-level language, but it is much faster, and almost indecipherable to me.
My suggestion:
Could we have a series of Elementary-to-Intermediate transition lessons, which focus exclusively on the language that Jenny uses to describe the language? I would suggest that the usual lesson format be abandoned for these lessons, in order to fit in plenty of examples.
Without this, I don't know how I am going to cope with Intermediate, unless you provide transcripts of Jenny's explanations.
(For all those who like to be helpful, I am not looking for other suggestions on how I should cope with Intermediate. I am looking for an answer from CPod staff only, or direct support or non-support for my suggestion from members).

April 14, 2009 at 7:35 AMI keep sending requests for assistance to 'Contact Us', but I have yet to receive a reply. Is anyone monitoring these requests? If not, how do I ask for technical assistance?
