Thanks for that - I didn't expect a response over the weekend. Did you catch a similar post I made for the lesson 'Office Policy: Internet' ?

What's holding up those glasses?

September 27, 2009 at 4:19 AMMakes me wonder why the heck I am learning Chinese. Why would I visit such a country? I wonder how long before they attack Cpod for being another portal to the West. Especially now that we have this influx of Chinese people trying to make contact with us on this site - a site with personal profiles might seem something like Facebook to the Chinese government.

Interesting, because I've pointed out the same issue in a couple of other Elementary lessons just today. Its been a bit frustrating for me because my Character Dictionary (there's a link to it in an earlier lesson) was based on the Key Vocabulary lists, so I've had to go back through each dialog with a fine-tooth comb searching for missing words. Anyway, I guess we just keep posting when the issue arises, and trust the lists will get updated.

September 26, 2009 at 9:08 AMCpod, can I suggest that the Key Vocabulary should include guānzhòng (观众). It is the first word in the dialog, and probably a new word for this level.
Also 对方 (duìfāng) and 接到 (jiēdào) are not in the key vocab.
Also, in 男子 should the second character be pronounced third tone (as you have it) or neutral?

Shouldn't lóng (笼, basket) be included in the vocab list?

September 27, 2009 at 8:19 AMThanks John,
I was just worried we were going to lose yet another Cpod identity.
