Actually John, the 27 consecutive longer lessons I was referring to were done by Pete, Jenny and Connie. Their lessons were on average longer than Amber's, and not particularly chatty - probably the most value we have got from Qingwen lessons.

Your text above shows mouseover Pinyin. I've seen this in text copied from Cpod material, but your text is copied from elsewhere. Were you able to add this yourself?

Cpod, just letting you know of a possible loophole in your Refer a Friend Program.

A New Poddie can cancel their membership, no questions asked, for a full refund, in the first month. Or so I recall reading somewhere.

So someone could refer any number of 'friends', build up a huge credit, then have all his friends cancel, with no additional charge.

Just wondering if there has been a conscious decision to downsize Qingwen podcasts.

We had 27 consecutive Qingwens over 9 minutes long, with an average length of just over 13 minutes.

This has been immediately followed by 7 consecutive lessons under 9 minutes, with an average length of just over 7 minutes - quite a drop.

Not a complaint, just a question.

No worries user1283. Its been downloaded about 800 times so far, but that only tells me that people hope to find it useful. It good to hear that someone is using it.

In the post above, matt_c promises that PDFs for the Qingwens before #112 would gradually appear. It has been 3 months now, and nothing. I had started to make QW PDFs, but stopped when I read this. Should I start up again, or will something happen shortly?

What IS a commuter town or dormitory town? I have never heard these terms. Are they American expressions?

I am also Australian. I am told Àodàlìyà is used by Chinese overseas, while Àozhōu is more common amongst Chinese in Australia. Àodàlìyà is the correct name for the country, Àozhōu refers more to the continent.
