With the advent of the new Dashboard about 6 weeks ago, you now need to subscribe to the Elementary group to see the Elementary lessons.

Unfortunately, providing a logical sequence of lessons isn't CPod's "method". You are meant to just choose lessons randomly.

I agree with zhenlijiang - to say 'a lot of traditional Chinese character' just doesn't sound right. To me 'character' means the sum of all the common characteristics of the traditional Chinese. It would make more sense to say something like '... exhibits facets of THE traditional Chinese character'.

But I am nitpicking - it is clear what is meant.

你打错电话了。

Or better, just 你打错了。

You need the 了.

会 indicates the ability to do something. So the first sentence means "Do you have the ability to speak Chinese".

可以 tends to suggest that an external influence might be affecting your ability to talk. In this case it probably means 'allowed' - 'Are you allowed to speak Chinese?'. But in a different context, it could mean 'Are you able to speak Mandarin under these circumstances'. Its kind of like ringing a friend and asking 'Can we talk' - you're not asking if we have the ability to talk - but 'Do you have time to talk?' or 'Is your wife listening in?'.
