:) (The chipmunks have returned, at least in the Dialogue MP3)

I went to one of my favorite Chinese restaurants (in China) last night. I was scanning the mammoth-sized menu looking for something new to try when I saw 栗子鸡 - chestnuts with chicken. I think without this lesson I wouldn't have been inspired to try it - it turned out to be extremely good, though the chestnut/chicken ratio was very skewed in favor of the chestnuts. Are they often used in other Chinese dishes?

user35487, 谢谢你留下来的link。非常有意思。我也喜欢他的《地书〉作品。 我希望以后有机会去看徐冰的美术展览。 不知道他会不会经常在中国举办展览。

This lesson was really fascinating. When I was in Chengdu a few years ago, I ran across an artist who also played around with 假汉子. Some of his art involved morphing a picture of an animal so that it looked like a Chinese character. Is this technique a common modern art style in China? Working on deciphering the English in the first picture... By the way, the third picture seems down (at least in China).

Another great lesson! Reminds me of the one on anthropology and evolution you had a long time ago.

Can't wait for the math and economics/politics lessons Jenny! This series really fills a gap in the kinds of topics/lessons that were available.

Hi, I noticed in the new Flash vocabulary list, some of the longer English definitions get cut off. For example, for 饮食男女 I only see 'food, drink, and' (though I can guess the ending!) I'm using Firefox.

I saw that the 'Vocabulary' tab is using a new application to present the vocab. Now, when I uncheck a word (i.e. I don't want to save it to my vocab manager) a popup windows comes up that says 'false'. Just a bug? I'm using Firefox The lesson was useful. I had noticed that China doesn't use the AA/AAA system, but never gotten around to learning what they use in its place. On the supplementary vocab you have '没电' for no power. How would you say it has a full charge? 满电?
