July 26, 2007 at 1:28 PMi feel 数 and 算 is not perfectly equal. 数 has a meaning such as "be enumerable/count as best ones" and 算 is just as "regard/count" and 要数桂林和重庆的岩洞最有名了 can not be changed as 桂林和重庆的岩洞要数最有名(了) but can be changed as 最有名的要数桂林和重庆的岩洞

July 9, 2007 at 2:08 PM可惜我感觉这lesson不够精彩as Upper Intermediate level. "一定" jenny said "很多的意思", i understand she uses this word as such meaning but 还是我觉这词语的正确的意思是 porper/reasonable "资历" this means "资格" and "经历" but the explanation lacked the part of "资格"=qualification "资源" i think this word comes from english"resource", as of business resource. it is 抽象 ,but it means "necessary element" so in this case 个人能力(knowledge/technique/information/etc) for this job. 开门见山 was the only 成语 so it should be explained more, i think.

June 30, 2007 at 2:30 AMgreat lesson! 子恒 speaks very fast but 发音 is very clear and almost standard so it was a very good listening training. the dialog seems very 任意自由, but i guess was very carefully prepared and it took a long time to write it down. thank you for your fresh lesson, and i would like to hear more 采访对 Cpod 以外的普通人或者马路上走过的人讲的汉语, one more question,"我们现在可以搞怪啊，啥啊，咋样啊" 是什么意思?词语听得懂但是他想说什么不清楚. difference "Advanced" and "Upper Intermediate" lesson has been, by tacit agreement, "John's english explanation". but in some lessons, i do not know it is on purpose or not, speaks only (fluent) Chinese, and it might cause some confusion to beginner.

June 24, 2007 at 11:37 PMi am japanese and i do not know why but was very much impressed to hear john & jenny speak japanese correctly. jhon seems like お好み焼き, so do i! i have one question, 琢磨的拼音是不是zuómo, not as jenny said zhuó mó ?
