It was a delight to meet all of you :) can you use 算了 when bargaining? say if the price is too high, you say forget it, 算了 meaning I won't buy?

I still can’t figure out the meaning of expression 算了,  I thought算了is to agree to something. When I first listened it to, I thought the guy agreed to just 蹲。

I really enjoyed this Qing Wen. 沒面子 is the same as 丟臉 right? 丟臉 to throw your face, shameful. My father would monitor my grades in school because 不及格很丟臉

Is it correct to say 北京的溫度是負二度 in Chinese Math negative numbers are called 負數, eg -1 =負一，-8= 負八 etc I often hear my friend say 零下度 (degrees below zero)
