(Soft knocks at the door)

CHONG: Who is it?

CHEECH: It's me, Dave. Open up, man, I got the stuff.

(More knocks)

CHONG: Who is it?

谁?

CHEECH: It's me, Dave, man. Open up, I got the stuff.

CHONG: Who?

谁?

CHEECH: It's, Dave, man. Open up, I think the cops saw me come in here.

(More knocks)

CHONG: Who is it?

CHEECH: It's, Dave, man. Will you open up, I got the stuff with me.

CHONG: Who?

谁?

CHEECH: Dave, man. Open up.

大为。

CHONG: Dave?

大为?

CHEECH: Yeah, Dave. C'mon, man, open up, I think the cops saw me.

CHONG: Dave's not here.

CHEECH: No, man, I'm Dave, man.

(Sharp knocks at the door)

CHEECH: Hey, c'mon, man.

CHONG: Who is it?

CHEECH: It's Dave, man. Will you open up? I got the stuff with me.

CHONG: Who?

谁?

CHEECH: Dave, man. Open up.

CHONG: Dave?

大为?

CHEECH: Yeah, Dave.

CHONG: Dave's not here.

CHEECH: What the hell? No, man, I am Dave, man. Will you...

(More knocks)

CHEECH: C'mon! Open up the door, will you? I got the stuff with me, I think the cops saw me.

CHONG: Who is it?

CHEECH: Oh, what the hell is it...c'mon. Open up the door! It's Dave!

CHONG: Who?

谁?

CHEECH: Dave! D-A-V-E! Will you open up the goddamn door!

CHONG: Dave?

大为?

CHEECH: Yeah, Dave!

CHONG: Dave?

大为?

CHEECH: Right, man. Dave. Now will you open up the door?

CHONG: Dave's not here.

But what about this:

That's right. Chinese. At least that's why I'm here.

Great lesson.

Yeah, that poor Red Panda, also known as the Lesser Panda (小熊猫). Turns out he can't even do lesser right in that he's actually more closely related to the raccoon (浣熊 huànxióng).  Maybe he'll have to revert to his other name, 火狐 huǒ hú (Fire Fox) which he shares with the red fox (and an internet browser).

He's cute, though.

Chúle zhè liǎngge yuànwàng yǐwài, xióngmāo háiyǒu yīge , shì bèi dòngwùyuán kāishì jiù pǎodào huāngyě lǐ de zhúlín qùzhù.

Besides these two desires, pandas also have another; to be set free and allowed to hightail it to their wild habitat.

Yes, a general 请问 Qǐngwèn about resultative verbs (aka, complements of result, verb complements结果补语 jiéguǒ bǔyǔ) would be wonderful. They are so useful but it's helpful to see them all together.

This page has a somewhat helpful explanation of RVs:
