Hi Henry, I agree with you! and i want to say something more. As college students, we hope our teacher not only judge us by score, but also judge us by comprehensive behavior. And i know that some chinese teachers are trying to do , i think it needs time!

zao shang hao, ge wei! “ye mao zi” zhe tang ke bu cuo! dan shi wo yao shuo de shi, zao qi de niao er you chong chi!kan, wo qi de zao cai neng gou he da jia yi qi fen xiang zhe tang ke. zhong guo xian zai shi zao shang 7:59. I think it will be better for mandarin learner if there is a chat room of spoken language. People can communicate with others via microphone. 如果Chinesepod有一个语音聊天室应该会更有助于大家学习普通话。

I like eating conjee and walffe for my breakfast. 我早餐喜欢吃稀饭和蛋饼。 wo zao can xi huan chi xi fan he dan bing. I also like eating 油条 and 油饼。

Hi Bill, 不客气!bu ke qi I think your learning method is very good. 我觉得你的学习方法不错/是对的。 wo jue de ni de xue xi fang fa bu cuo/ shi dui de. Back to your question, I prefer “没事吧”to “还好吗”,but both expressions can make sense.

are you ok? 你没事吧?/你还好吗? ni mei shi ba?/ ni hai hao ma? I'm fine, thanks 我没事(我很好),谢谢关心。 wo mei shi, xie xie guan xin.
