Great dialogue.John's comment about pig being lucky "until you get eaten" was very funny. It'd be interesting to look at demographic data for China and see if there are spikes in the population for the lucky years. Are classes noticeably larger in the lucky years?

jackfrombelgium,

Well done. Was it the words at the bottom of the painting that gave it away? Otherwise it would be very difficult to work out if you don't know the characters.I believe there are some high tech tools out there that can scan Chinese and recognise characters. Is this a painting you own or something? Is there a story behind it?

Talking of crime and also putting things through the wash reminds me of a funny scene from "Two hands" the Aussie black comedy that shot Heath Ledger onto the national stage. It's a long clip so I'll just give the url which is:

http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=DWFqULMIy7s

or just click here.

The part of the scene I'm referring to starts at 8m 20secs.

I loved Jenny's comment about people who have presence are never punctual.I always thought it was due to my Irish heritage, but I'll have to remember this one...

Inserting that result from the website made it really difficult to edit/add any comment after that.So all I can say is the site shows 4hours 6minutes and 7 seconds.Well done Pete!!

ps perhaps we could here more about it in a DA show.
