..ah,sorry but your guess is as good as mine.I was just impressed by the size of what he was carting.But it doesn't look like gourds[on steroids] to me.Looks more like giant bags [?full of garbage] with ,as RJ has subsequently pointed out,plastic bottles freely balancing on top.I'd love to see a pic of Amber's efforts if she had one.

So it's interesting to find a different way to say the week days; zhou1san1,etc .
Is one way more common to use.Is one way used more in certain situations,or are there regional differences?

I love some of the new vocab in this lesson,particularly the way some of the single characters I know are put to gether to form new words.Biru,you chien ren,have money people,ai guo for patriotic
Where does bieguo for other countries come from? To me it means "don't country".lol.Of course this is being very literal but it makes me think of a patriotic Chinese person talking of other countries and saying "you don't wanna go there" ? hehe
