你的卡都挂失好了吗？
I'm wondering about the 都.I suppose in this context it's trying to say reporting is "all" done....it's all finished now.But I initially wondered if this was going to signify that "all" the cards in the stolen purse had been reported.How would you express that then?

.."go"? I'm not trying to be pedantic here,but just clarifying that you can 打电话 to 挂失 as in the dialogue of this lesson?Otherwise that could be a nightmare if you are out of town,and what about after hours/weekends etc? If you can call,I take it you have to call the exact branch and not just some central lost card reporting number?
Is online banking in China considered safe?
I'm also curious about 身份证 which John said 外国人 don't need.Does it ever become a requirement i.e.if you emmigrate to China? Do 外国人 ever become citizens and if so is this a difficult process?

I don't really know why.I just note that the vocab tab has ke3 and ai4 separated by a gap and that exercise 3 is very senstive to things like gaps and neutral tones being represented by a 5.I think of ke3 as being akin to the english "...able" so in this case loveable..cute.While ke3 and ai4 [love] go together to make loveable/cute,maybe it's like our hyphenated words except that Chinese/pinyin doesn't have hyphens ,so instead a gap.I'm very happy to try and help,but best ask CPod or someone more advanced for clarification.Cheers :)

...P'ple for people.I like "remove misunderstanding with anybody"...'d love to know his methods here,hehe.I wonder if this extends to removing that blank look in the recipient of what you're sure is you're perfectly pronounced and intonated Mandarin.It seems there's little the good Dr Juma cannot do,so I think I'd better pay him a visit,hehe.That,or or every native Mandarin speaker is bewitched to not understand me.I wonder if he can handle 1.3 billion Chinese.hmmm

Very interesting introduction to the poem.You're almost outdoing the Poem Pete.Nice to explore a different era and style.It's a shame those songs were lost.I think it would really enhance it further.
