I'll know I've got 筷子 [chopsticks] licked when I can pull off Daniel-san's trick:

和用筷子放那个苍蝇上钩为鱼饵和钓鱼 [and use the chopsticks to put that fly on the hook as bait and fish]

Changye,if your chubby dog can use chopsticks then you'll have to do better than Miyagi so your dog won't outdo you, hehe.

Anyone have any chopsticks games or tricks?

This one seems a bit obvious.

I'd like to see ones that involve some skill.

This one could be good exercise for your lips to help make the right shape to produce Chinese sounds and tones.

Last time I was in 加拿大 I ran out of dough.Luckily I found some work to support myself, but boy was it 很难:

Looks like there are 2 ways to say salmon in Chinese:

三文鱼 。。which looks more like a transliteration and

鲑鱼

reigau,

Not at all mate.I appreciated the help and always will with anyone who is kind enough to bring me up to speed on a point.Yeah,I kid around a lot so it can be hard to tell in this medium.Thanks.Actually the first time around I had just read azzotes comment too quickly and thought she was referring to the third tone of ni3.When I reread it I realised she had shui.I do know about the water radical but had never seen it referred to as san dianr shui before so thanks for pointing that out.It all made sense after that.I didn't know radicals had there own references like that.Does anyone know any other commonly used terms for common radicals?

nquarrie,

..because the duoshao has already asked the question.Adding "ma" at the end of a sentence is just one of several ways to ask a question in Chinese.

miantiao,

They mightn't need water or oxygen, but I'd suggest byo 剪刀 and 布 as Koronis is uninhabitable by Earthlings and the nearest aliens are several light years away so it could be a bit dull for a while. No need to worry about 石头 though;plenty of them about.Alternatively, they could bring a partner as the place does need populating if we're going to defend it.You can tell 'em 没氧气 will make things a bit more interesting on that front so there are some unexpected lurks and perks you won't get elsewhere. They're sounding promising though;send 'em along mate. :)

reigau amd azzote,

Oh right. Thanks reigau mate.I see.Well we already have the 三点水 in the 澳 character [ironic isn't it given that Australia is one of the driest continents on Earth?],and we Koronisites [I may have just coined another term] are nothing if not efficient,so we'll not be having any redundancy, sorry azzote. No need to apologise azzote as it was my Chinese that was lacking ,not your English.Hey,you've just coined扩澳你语 so I think we can have a word each now and be settled with that, hehe.Sure I'd love to see what you can do with a bunch of barren rocks, but I must say you're sounding overqualified already.

I liked the usage of these structures:

rúguǒ...jiù

yī...jiù

..in the vocab tab,and would love to see more examples like this in future lessons when they pop up.
