That Easter bunny must have developed one heck of a good hop to get over the Chang2cheng2:

...so imagine the wall they're gonna have to build to keep this fella out:

changye,

True mate, but I was thinking that an ash tray would be easier when one resorts to charades than salt.I'm thinking the shaking action might work over food, but then there's other condiments you might be indicating.

bodawei,

Thanks for those mate.I'm also wondering if hang ten would be simply translated as gua4shi2? And before the protests come that we're getting off topic here, let me point out that gua4shi2 is a manouvre that is as equally applicable in surfing as it is in TBTCS:

..though this amateur forget to cut out the requisite holes for his ten jiao3zhi4 to poke through,so he'd be disqualified.

Kevina,

hehe.Yeah,"better the devil you know" psychology at work.

True to form Matt's not worried by the death implication of si.Not worried by meat cleavers either.Does nothing phase the man? I think he's showing promise of displaying in this series that same intrepid Aussie spirit as this guy,who I saw in a documentary yesterday soldier on despite getting a full electric shock from an eel and was repeatedly pecked by large birds.Hilarious.This i am looking for in Matt.

Do they say "Sam's your uncle" then in the US?

So 3 lessons on a Tuesday? Can't wait for the new video series, but I would suggest spreading the lessons a little, though am I right in thinking this is starting out as once every 2 or 4 weeks? No big deal about 3 on one day though, the important thing is we're lucky enough to get an exciting looking new series.

Bring on Lao Wang.

I have just read of a poem that sounds interesting called "lament for lychees" written by the eleventh century poet Su Shi.

reigau,

Yeah, hamburger and massage but not in that order. The massage is just tenderising the meat for when you're dead meat with the missus and used for the burger.

Great quote Pete and thanks for explaining the use of this word as it's come up once before.Yeah, context is king.

svik,

A beautiful picture. Thanks for sharing a current photo. What a shame no-one paid attention. If she was from a Conservatory of music I'm sure she would have been very good too.
