November 4, 2009 at 10:31 AMI know Australian as 澳大利亚人.Does anyone know how to say it any other way? ..more specifically is there a translation for Aussie? The reason I ask is that when I was in Taiwan with just a phrasebook in hand and nil else behind me and I would say 澳大利亚人 and they would seem to correct me and try and say something that sounded like Ohtzi...something much shorter.At the time I thought it was another way of saying it in Mandarin,rather than there accented way of trying to say it in English,but I may have lost something in translation of course.It sounded like a transliteration.Ring any bells?

I've had a native speaker kindly correct my translation.You were right of course about those 就是's.Man,I'll have to go and listen again even harder.Here it is:
John:那么“投诉” 就是 “make a complaint”
徐洲 ：嗯
John:那么“投诉到底”是怎么样呢？
徐洲：“到底”就是。。
John： to the ends
徐洲：to the ends,但是呢就是我们不知道这个结果到底是怎么样，可能是，这个买家她想要得到的结果，就是她会一直投诉一直投诉，直到她得到这个结果
John:她希望这个卖家倒闭？还是什么？
徐洲：这个我们不知道
John：Ok,complaints to the ends，ok ,好，那我们再听一遍吧！
徐洲：好的

Blue blood is an expression from the Spanish phrase "sangre azul", indicating nobility or noble descent.
This is said to derive from the fact that the native Spanish had fairer skin, which displays veins more prominently, than people of Arab origin. After the Moorish occupation of Spain, intermarriage occurred. The result seems to have been that the aristocracy, particularly certain families in Castille, who would not mix with the Moors, showed rather bluer blood vessels (in, for example, the back of the hand) than the ordinary folk.
