November 11, 2010 at 3:01 AMthat's the first time I've seen a snippet of conversation used as the lesson introduction. I like such experimenting, and I think it works in this case. Drops us straight into the picture.

November 10, 2010 at 6:40 AMmulanlan,
I haven't studied this old one, but after a quick squizz at the dialogue tab I'd agree that it looks more like an Ellie to me. I guess it was released just over 7 months after CPod started and I think the earlier lessons are reputed to be more challenging and I guess it took a while to establish their levels.

November 9, 2010 at 7:57 AMhehe, I got the reference and love it. Seems very apt too. Personally I get a kick out of hearing Americans express things in a way that is different to what I'd hear here and dude would be up there with one of my personal favourites. Seems pretty cool, laid back, informal and chummy. I also love the diversity you'll hear from different regions within America and get a thrill if I feel I have some inkling as to roughly what broad region it might come from. Jeepers, I'd hate it if we all became one homogenous lot. wuliaosile . Don't go changing xiaophil et al :)

November 9, 2010 at 2:41 AMwow..ESP, though given the lessons are produced ahead of time I'm not sure if this is esp on both sides or just super responsiveness to lesson requests. One group at least should be happy. May lure some up to UI as well. I'm looking for some xiaophil comments on this one.
