一下。。"not necessarily conveying very specific information, it's just a habit"...nicely explained. I have often felt that to be the case and that's also the way I feel about it when I throw in an 一下 for good measure...it feels better to do it..more natural, and perhaps softens the tone [perhaps makes the task at hand smaller, less onerous or troublesome], but I'm not sure I've specifically heard it explained quite like that before. It also seems to me that it's more natural in speech than it would be in written Chinese [except where quoting speech]. Would my impression there be right?

hehe, yeah, that old joke was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title of this lesson. Next thing I thought of was how 肥皂 somehow seems to quite appropriate after that joke as it sounds a bit like "fades ou[t]"

I note the middle character of her name is 韶 which can mean both music and harmonious, so very apt. When I first noted that I wondered if it was a stage name [do many Chinese performers take stage names?] but the wiki article doesn't mention a change of name. So perhaps this is one of those self fulfilling prophesies...or following parents dreams or something along those lines.

这个课程让我想起来那个中文播客系列“爱纠结“。。为什么呢？。。因为在爱纠结系列第九集【也是一个中高级课程】最后老婆【璐璐】提到“离婚”，而且听起来演员都是一样的， 还有语气差不多，两个课程都有类似的音乐。。。

...reminds me of the old Irish joke:

关于“泡吧”。。第一次我看到这个字“泡”是在“泡脚“的课程。。有”soak“的意思，所以就算Jenny解释在这个课程。。在这个语境，换句话说在这个词意思是“hang out" 还让我想起来英语的词“imbibe" which can not only refer to drinking but can also mean to soak up.
