May 3, 2014 at 12:20 PMThere's also 数十亿, don't mind 兆 because of it's vagueness
Getting away from the slangy feel, the largest I can find is:
古戈爾普勒克斯,
apart from 无穷大 I guess

May 3, 2014 at 12:07 PMI mean there are many more straight forward ones like 无数, but that doesn't have the corrupted/slangy feel that bajillion and gaziilion has. I think the closest would have to include the wan that you seem to be forbidding me. Like 上万, 成千上万, or better still involve 亿 so something like 数以亿计 would probably be my closest pick

May 3, 2014 at 12:00 PMMaybe there is no similarly constructed , but there is 数不胜数, 极大。 Dunno, you got something more in the same vein ?

May 3, 2014 at 8:01 AMwould have thought bajillion was as common as gazillion etc, can't think which I would have been more likely to say. Interestingly in these situations there is often a Briitsh or American leaning with one term or another, but can't see that pattern in our small poddie sample here.

April 28, 2014 at 6:52 AMThanks Veronique. Strangely but luckily for me after it disappeared it reappeared sometime later then disappeared then reappeared and after a few cycles went right off radar not to be seen again. Luckily I managed to save a copy during its first reappearance and have now reposted it.
