I dont find Liliana's accent distracting at all. I fail to see how it hinders anyone's learning. Everything we need is there. Connie presents the proper Chinese delivery and pronounciation and John is there as a native english speaker to add that perspective when needed. Liliana offers some relief from what could at times be a very dry two way exchange. I find the combination of the show with the PDF and dialogue sentences to be all the tools I need to master the material.

They truly have intensified their efforts to contol drinking and driving. Every night I noticed those driving would not drink. This was not the case in the past and I know some of these guys love to drink.

when it returns empty folders for a lesson it usually means something such as the lesson name was not entered correctly. Did you put the dash (-) between each word in the lesson title? Other than that the exact and complete URL is entered for the lesson name. You can create a file with your name and password for cpod so you dont have to enter this info every time. I dont know what else to tell you. It has worked for me at each release. It is worth the effort.

btw there is a typo in Jenny's response. She said:
'turn around'is 调头/diào tóu. Im sure she meant to type 掉头/diào tóu。The original character is actually tiáo not diào.

WLCP is very nice - just two comments
1.only works well in firefox
2.you have to re-set your cog wheel settings every time you use it becase it changes them and doesnt put them back. No big problem, but be aware.
WLCP takes all the mp3 files from the expansion sentences and bundles them in one mp3 that plays them each twice with a space between them. It also creates a nice study format that shows hanzi, pinyin, literal translation, translation, and even bopomofo if you want it. Any combination of the above can be selected in traditional or simplified characters for the dialogue and the expansion sentences. Vocab, vocab mp3's and pdf's are also packaged. The whole lesson can be printed out as well. I use it mostly to load the expansion sentences on my ipod and I like the fact that all three versions (english, pinyin and hanzi are shown for each sentence without using a roll over and you can print them this way. Its All good.

And Im from Ohio, if I was a college football fan that would make us rivals but since Im not, we are just neighbors.
What was the translation challenge Jenny mentioned that you and John discussed for 30 min? I want to prepare :-). Translations are looking good.
