January 9, 2012 at 5:15 PMThanks Jenny. Im really hoping to get to Shanghai before my classes resume in late February. I wasn't thinking about heading to the office before the 1st of February. It will probably be around the 5th or 10th of February. I have been to so many places in China, but I feel odd telling people that I have been in China for over two years and never took a trip to Shanghai.

January 8, 2012 at 2:20 PMI am hoping to visit Shanghai in late January/ early February. If I do, would I be welcome to visit the Chinesepod office? I know that the office received guests in the past, but want to make sure it still does.

December 27, 2011 at 10:39 AMI have been studying for three years, and I still haven't mastered pinyin yet. I work at it everyday, but I have a hard time distinguishing between some of the sounds. I think I may be of the type that learns languages slowly, but so long as I continue to work at it, I will eventually master it.

October 31, 2011 at 2:35 PMI have a question about a line in the dialogue;
李探长看了一下四周 。。。
This is translated as;
Detective Li surveyed the area
I am supposing that the 四周 refers to the area, but I don't understand the connection. Can someone please explain?
Thanks.

September 27, 2011 at 9:12 AMI wasn't trying to be a smartass. I initially thought that it was simply that maybe there was an issue with the fonts. I downloaded the lesson, and the lesson was also in Korean. This must mean that there is a Korean version, and not simply a problem with the fonts. Sorry if I came off as sarcastic or anything.

February 7, 2012 at 7:13 AMI visited the Chinesepod office today and met many of the key people, Raymond and Jenny were great host(ess)s! It was nice to visit the office, and meet the people who have helped me in my work to learn Chinese. Jenny spent a half hour of her time to talk to me and show me the office, and I appreciate the personal touch.
Thanks again.
