分析一下一个纽约时报的文章： HSK6 含有118词， HSK5含有170词

还分析我现在读的小说的一段（2万字左右）： HSK6含有260词， HSK5含有384词

既然对于HSK5和HSK6的词汇很多， 要求比较高，还加上HSK6打扮的词汇是书面的，我认为Chinesepod的这些很短的正文没有很大的作用。 最好多看报纸， 小说等等。 这片课文含有HSK6的7个词。 所以， 为了学完HSK6需要的2500个词， 要学习350多课！

大家好。 话题挺有意思， 我是干农产品的， 所以关于天气的词汇对我非常有用。比如说， 今年7月的台风带来的暴雨和水灾对多种农作物的收获季节造成了很大的影响。 我这几个月经常听到了淹没， 水灾， 暴雨这些词。。。

主持人的发音很清楚， 沟通顺畅， 很不错， 声音也很好听。

关于词汇， 我非常喜欢cpod的词典性能， 但是我发现， 心得词都不录音。 比如, 一拖再拖没有可以下载的录音。

好多课程中的词汇也是这样。 以后会重复扩大cpod的词典还是已经废弃了这个项目？ 我的学习方式非常依赖词汇的录音， 所以有一点失望。

So far my experience with this word list confirms your point of view. I just arrived in Qingdao a couple of hours ago for a week-long trip to China. Even within that short evening, I encountered a lot of words that I had just learned from this word list.

Also, I started reading a detective story on the flight and there is one of the HSK6 words on virtually every page (sort of, I am reading a text version on Pleco of course).

So, I admit that all this prooves highly useful and I will keep working on the word list. I think, when reaching HSK5/ HSK6 it's also about moving away from only colloquial spoken language into more formal written material, and formal spoken material like news broadcasts or speeches/ presentations. And this kind of language certainly is used in work contexts a lot - the other day I learned a new Chengyu in the morning and in the afternoon I got a message on Wechat containing this very idiom.
