There have been several natural disasters in several parts of the world with major destruction and damage. Venice experienced a heavy rainfall that led to serious flooding in most parts of the city. After heavy rains, more than 70% of Venice, Italy was flooded.

On the 29th, heavy winds and downpours caused the water level around Venice to rise to its highest level in almost a decade. More than three quarters of the city was inundated.
