August 17, 2015 at 6:37 PMSo awesome. I have been trying to drill my friend on 有没有 and 要不要 (and just taught him 酸 in the context of asking for a shoulder rub). Definitely pushing this video on him.
May I suggest that you position the speakers' heads higher in the frame; sometimes part of Fiona's chin is covered by the pale bar at the bottom, while there is empty space above her head.
And yes, the purple characters didn't show up against Gwilym's shirt.

August 17, 2015 at 6:15 PMThanks for clarifying ZhouRui. I'm curious, is this common to try to catch fish with your hands? I tried catching minnows in my hands as a kid but it certainly wasn't very successful.

August 9, 2015 at 8:03 PMI notice that in the dialogue people talk about being hit by "thunder" as opposed to "lightning." Obviously it's the lightning that actually hits you. Do people also say "hit by lightning," or do people always say "hit by thunder" when they mean "hit by lightning"?
Early in the dialogue one speaker does say "such powerful lightning" and follows it up by saying it would be terrible to be hit "by that," but later "被雷打到" is translated as "hit by lightning."

September 21, 2015 at 10:55 PMIs a 巷口 only indicative of the corner of a T-shaped intersection, or does it also refer to the corner of a lane way and a road, making a 4-way intersection?
