潇洒 形容男人。
漂亮 形容女人。
潇洒 漂亮 同样可以形容做事情的风格，比如“那件事他做的可真潇洒/漂亮”。
如果是特别火辣性感的女人，可以说 尤物 you2 wu4，或者 辣妹 la4 mei4. 比如说“那个穿红裙子的女生可真是个尤物/辣妹！”

choke, we don't have any special words for this one in sport games. But we always say a phrase, 后劲不足 hou4 jin4 bu4 zu2, I think they are same meaning.

Like 警察同志 or 保安同志. sushan, Here is a simple structure of China Police. 公安部 gong1 an1 bu4 Ministry of Public Security of China 公安局 gong1 an1 ju2 Public Security Bureau of ...(city), like 北京市公安局 分局 fen1 ju2 Public Security Bureau of ...(distirct of city), like 黄浦区分局 派出所 pai4 chu1 suo3 Police Station of ...(comunity), like 长江街道派出所 And if you are in mainland or taiwan, have certain urgent things and you need help from police immediatly, you can dial 110. In Hongkong is 999.

May 23, 2008 at 2:10 PMacorrigan, 警察 is policeman. 公安, short form of 公共安全(public safety), also means policeman. So same meaning different name. Actually, 公安 was more used 30 years ago to call policeman. But now the word for police department of a city still use 公安局. Such as 上海市公安局.

May 21, 2008 at 8:47 AMDoes anyone like the chinese campus songs (校园歌曲 xiao4 yuan2 ge1 qu3)? Such as 童年 (tong2 nian2), 蜗牛与黄鹂鸟 (wo1 niu2 yu3 huang2 li2 niao3). They were created more than 10 years ago but still popular now. Very relax and the lyrics, also melody are pretty simple but interesting. It's a very good way to learn chinese.
