Very glad you like this lesson. Also I think you've given very good suggestions in your comment.
1. It is true that might cause some problems if we provide other media resources individually as our product, like the Dialog. We will try to figure out a better way in the future.
2. Good point. For the same structured media lessons, time index of the clips will be mentioned in the podcast and comment section from next time.

另外，故事中会出现一些文言文的表达方式，非常有意思。在现代汉语中这些词语也经常被使用，比如在书籍、演讲、文化交流中。

Glad you enjoy the show. Usually we don't have a vocab list for BST. But, we'd love to help if you need more explaination on a certain word or phrase.
The purpose of this culture show is to help you to get better understand of the land, the people and the culture of China. Maybe it can also give you another reason that you want to know more about Chinse. Though it's not a lesson, you will learn more than a lesson.
BTW, if you ask the same question as we left in this show, I think most Chinse people will tell you that China is the third biggest country on the world, 9,600,000 sq km, bigger than The United States.

May 9, 2011 at 4:33 AM大部分情况下，这两个词是完全一样的，可以互换。但如果要说差别的话，可能在语言习惯上有很小的区别。比如：
1. 年轻人/名词，年轻/形容词；青年人/名词，青年/名词；所以
“他很年轻”，不能说 “他很青年。”
”14到28岁的青年“，不能说 “14到28岁的年轻”。
2. 搭配上，有一定的模式。比如
在 “青年人，中年人，老年人的人口比率很平均” 这一句话中，把 “青年人” 换成 “年轻人” 就不太合适，虽然意思没变，但感觉和之后的“中年人，老年人”不搭配。
还有，“青年”可以和“少年”组合成 “青少年”。
3. 语境上，非常正式的情况下，用“青年”、“青年人”的情况比较多。
