Hi komyg,

Thank you very much for your advice.

We did the same thing as yours during the post. It's actually not a synch problem, 'cause the 2 parts you found unsynched were actually re-shot after we found some problems happened with the video cassette: bad video frames. The audio and video were taping seperately. So for keeping a smooth audio flow (and because audio is the main media format that ChinesePod is offering now) we decided to only re-shoot the video, not the audio. It's hard for both our host and post-production team to synch old audio with new video, so unfortunately it didn't work out in the finale. I'm sure it won't happen again when serial and fix-formed ChinesePod video lessons come out.

我同意你的看法，这个对话的翻译中确实有一些模糊的地方。或许这也反映出当人们谈到 “党” 和 “政治” 问题的时候那种模糊的感觉。在中国，给我的感觉，“党” 和政治是无所不在，没有边界，而且影响可以很大也可以很小。所以，当“党”要求你有 ‘政治追求’ 的意义可能和其他国家、其他政客的情况不太一样。需要有一个 “中国思维”，呵呵。

你的中文水平很高，所以自然会关心一些平时不被人关心的问题。我希望我的英语写作能和你的中文一样棒，呵呵。我非常有兴趣和你探讨相关问题，同时也非常感谢你对BST的支持。我想接下来我们可能会安排一集BST，讲一讲“入党”的过程。当然，我们会尽量注意 “敏感” 的问题，毕竟这是一个回避不了的前提。
