Yes that is true! The lessons from 2015-2018 are indeed harder so if you are trying to make a smoother transition to a higher level, you can start with the older lessons (pre 2015) and then work your way up to more recent ones.

很好的句子!For the third sentence, you can say "再"一个小时,我就买咖啡了。, indicating in an hour you will buy some coffee.

Hello, this lesson is indeed harder than other elementary lessons, but the takeaway should be the names of different countries' currencies. At higher levels we will talk more in-depth about the currencies and related-financial topics.

You made some great sentences! I have a small suggestion for you for the second sentence: 暑假快到了!再两个星期我就去老家看家人了。After 就, it is good to add a 要 afterwards because it indicates "going to do sth. in the future".

Very good question! Yes the literal meanings are mostly correct (I don't think 见 has the meaning of to interview), but they have different usages. For 晚, you can say 我来晚了, that's the equivalence of 我迟到了. Keep in mind that the literal meaning of individual characters aren't as important as the meanings of the words they make up, and they vary very much from words to words!

The "Daily characters" series unfortunately won't be uploaded to the website. As for your other question, 交 and 渡 can both mean "to cross" but they have widely different usages. The word 渡 is only used when describing crossing the rivers, while 交 is used for crossing in general.
