Inconsistent album names for the Audio Review MP3s

Sometimes the Audio Review lessons have the album name "fix" and sometimes they have the album name "ChinesePod.com Fix".

This causes issues when I try to line up all my current Audio Review lessons and listen to them all, which is something I often like to do.  Half of them appear under one album name, half under the other.  Even though they are different lessons, they should all appear under the same "album" when using the Android music player or Windows Media Player etc.

I know I can go and edit the tag names myself but it would make more sense if you guys stuck to one name or the other.  It is not so easy to go and edit tag names if I have already transferred them to my phone for example, which is where I do most of my listening.  Many Thanks :)

The review was once called "Fix", I guess you are downloading old lessons.

I guess cleaning those up would mean to reupload the complete catalogue. Should be no problem though ;-)

The problem is, most people listen to a mixture of old and new lessons. Perhaps you can just go back to labelling new Review lessons as album title "fix". It would look neater alongside "dialogue" and "show". Those are not labelled "ChinesePod.com Dialogue" and "ChinesePod.com Show" after all.

Hi matthiask, you are correct that the reviews with album name "Fix" are old reviews from our old lesson upload system. The new reviews are named "ChinesePod.com Fix". These tags are automatically inserted by our AMS system when we upload the lessons. Changing the tags on all of our old lessons is not a feasible solution at this time.

This is a good example of the bunch of quality problems that I addressed here.

CPod should really use the summer & vacation time to address all these things!

Just change your view from your selling or developing perspective to the end user's or learner's perspective and check everything! And start listen to your customers.

Just a quick note on summer holidays - ChinesePod is in constant production throughout the year, with the exception of national holidays in the PRC (National Holiday in Oct. and Spring Festival are the two longest)! :)

I assure you we are listening to our customers and trying to make changes that reflect the great suggestions we hear from you guys. Thanks for your input.
