Did you at least watch the 360 degree movie at the China exhibit in Epcot?

Just got back in Shanghai. This trip has been the highlight of my life.

Small regret though, didn't go on a puke-inducing theme park ride.

It would be interesting to know the degree of engagement with China of the organizations that attended this conference. I've noticed a big upsurge in "non-procurement" work in China by web companies over the last four years, but - with the exception of Google - these tend to be much smaller companies.

Judging by how slow I've been to report back, you know how much fun i've been having.

I had the honor to keynote on the opening night in front of 2000 people, all of whom became completely in awe by our approach and how we've energized learning Chinese and language learning in general.In fact, chinesepod has been hailed as setting the 'best practice' for language learning in today's day and age. More updates along the way, but just to congratulate everyone on making chinesepod what it is.

P.S. To highlight the relevance and engagingness of our lessons, I showed a snippet of 'cold beer' and now 2000 people know how to say pi jiu.

Looking forward to hearing about your adventures in Florida! Maybe you can mention them on Amber's next show.

Speaking of recommendations, if you want to get a good taste of what 美试火锅 is, look for a "Melting Pot" restaurant. Absolutely to die for. I'm pretty sure they have one in the Downtown Disney / Lake Buena Vista area.

If you're visiting parks, try to have lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe in Animal Kingdom. The last time I was there, it was not outrageously expensive and the food was quite good. They have lots of frozen drinks which is good when it's hot out (come to think of it, the drinks may have contributed to my perception of the food). It's by far the best place I've eaten among the Disney parks. It's kitschy and touristy, but hey it's Disney so what do you expect. Call EARLY for reservations though.

Take in as much of the Magic Kingdom as possible. Also, stay far away from International Drive. It's really just an overpriced tourist trap anyway.
